Blackwoods Distillery Tour – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking and Confirmation

1.1. All tour bookings must be made in advance via our online booking system.
1.2. Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the tour.
1.3. A booking confirmation email will be sent once payment is received. It is the customer’s responsibility to check that all details (date, time, number of guests) are correct.

2. Tour Attendance

2.1. All guests must arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled tour start time.
2.2. Late arrivals may not be admitted, and no refund will be provided for late arrival or non-attendance.
2.3. Participants must comply with health and safety instructions given by our staff during the tour.

3. Age and Conduct

3.1. Participants must be 18 years of age or older to attend the tour. Valid photo ID may be requested on arrival.
3.2. We operate a Challenge 25 policy; if a guest appears under 25, they must provide acceptable ID.
3.3. Blackwoods Gin reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest whose behaviour is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or in breach of any policy, without refund.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

4.1. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour start time.
4.2. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund.
4.3. Bookings that are cancelled within the refund window (24+ hours in advance) will receive a full refund of the tour fee.
4.4. No-shows or guests who fail to attend at the scheduled time will not receive a refund nor be entitled to a rescheduled tour without payment.

5. Changes to Bookings

5.1. Requests to change the date or time of a booking must be made at least 24 hours before the original tour start time and are subject to availability.
5.2. Changes requested within 24 hours of the tour may not be accommodated and will be treated as a cancellation (see section 4 above).

6. Distillery Rights

6.1. Blackwoods Gin reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to operational reasons, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
6.2. If we cancel your tour, you will be entitled to a full refund or the option to rebook on an alternative date.
6.3. We may amend tour content, guides, or route without prior notice to improve the guest experience.

7. Liability and Personal Belongings

7.1. Blackwoods Gin shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft, or injury to personal belongings brought to the distillery.
7.2. In no event shall Blackwoods Gin be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of your participation in a tour.

8. Privacy

8.1. Personal data collected for bookings will be processed and stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

9.1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
