Blackwoods First Drop Gin – A Historic First Distillation
Crafted to celebrate the first spirit distilled at Blackwoods’ new brand home in Inverkip, this limited-edition Scottish gin is made using a traditional one-shot distillation method in our custom-built Scottish copper pot still. With nothing but pure water added at bottling, it stays true to the art of classic gin-making adopting the classic London dry style.
With only 1,500 hand-numbered bottles available, this release marks a milestone in our journey.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh minerality with a peppery spice and a delicate hint of coastal brine. Palate: Oily juniper and bright citrus lead to a rich, savoury, and coastal finish.
